over a year ago. In inclement weather, I suggest you go to the Ark, since the Creation Museum has beautiful gardens you don’t want to miss. But it doesn’t really matter. Just plan to spend the entire day at each attraction if you want to make the most of your trip.
Is the Creation Museum worth it?
God’s creation is awesome. Go visit the trip / travel is worth it – and the cost is great for what you learn and see. A lot of explanations. People are freindly and prices are good even for a family with children at the little restaurants.
Can you do Ark Encounter and creation museum in one day?
Yes, you can visit both in one day (we did). But I don’t recommend doing so. We could have spent much more time enjoying the ark but had bought the ark and museum ticket combo and felt rushed to the ark and drive 45 minutes to the museum.

At the ark encounter you will want at least 3-4 hours. There is a snack bar in the lower level and a restaurant outside. At the creation museum you should plan on buying the 2-day ticket. One for inside and one for outside.

After parking you’ll walk to ticket gate to buy a ticket and pay an additional $10 parking fee. You’ll board a bus for the 5 min ride to the Ark and are dropped off away from the Ark and will walk again. There isn’t much shade available.
