How do I get a career readiness certificate?

There are two ways to get your certificate:

Your assessment provider pays for and provides the certificate to you.
Your assessment provider does not provide the NCRC to you, so you create a free account on MyWorkKeys.com,* gaining access to your score transcripts and your NCRC achievement details.

Can you take the NCRC test online?

The scores on all three tests must meet the minimum score in order to acquire the specific Certificate level. Each test is allotted 55 minutes, and is taken online.

Does the National Career Readiness Certificate expire?

Does the NCRC expire? No, each NCRC includes a date of issuance and does not expire. Generally, certificates should be renewed after five years. The skills measured by any credential tend to change with time.

How long does it take for WorkKeys results to be returned?

Results for the multiple choice portion of the WorkKeys are usually available within two weeks of taking your test. However, it could sometimes be up to eight weeks before you receive your results.

What level do you need to score in order to receive a National Career Readiness Certificate?

Level 3
To achieve an NCRC, an examinee must score a minimum of Level 3 on all three assessments.
