Despite best efforts, it is with regret we announce that the Santos Tour Down Under will not go ahead in 2021. Race Director of the Santos Tour Down Under, Stuart O’Grady said, as his first year as Race Director he was always up for a challenge, but that this year had been one hell of a challenge!

64 Australian cyclists have ridden in the Tour from 1914 to 2021. Australia had 12 cyclists at the 2012 Tour de France and followed by 11 cyclists at the 2013 Tour de France and 2018 Tour de France. Cadel Evans & Richie Porte are only riders to finish tour on podium. Porte was 3rd in 2020.
